Shirts have shipped!

Hey folks, we hope that popover-appropriate weather is quickly approaching where ever you are! Almost every popover has finally been sent out to our Kickstarter backers. That feels really good to finally share.

What’s been happening?

While it’s taken longer than we expected to get this point, we think we’re headed down a really good path for this year. Your patience has given us the time to refine both our textiles and production processes, and the funding through Kickstarter has enabled us to procure an initial inventory of about 200 shirts in addition to the ones we sent all of you! If you know of anyone that missed the Kickstarter, but would love to get their hands on a shirt, please send them to our online storefront.

What’s up next?

This summer, we’re gearing up to showcase our goods at several craft markets, so keep an eye out for those dates. We would certainly love to meet any of y’all in person, so please come visit if we're in your city!

Albert and I are also really excited to be heading back to Bangladesh at the end of April. We’ll be hanging with the fine folks at Deshal for a week, working on a few new styles and getting orders ready for those summer markets. We’ll also be working closely with Deshal to figure out the best mechanism(s) to share the brand’s earnings directly to the garment artisans.

More to come soon, but in the meantime, we hope everyone's been enjoying their shirts!

Cheers—NMG

Muntasir is our man on the ground working directly with the artisans at Deshal on #popover production. He's getting into trying new #textiles for our shirts! This one is in a slightly heavier cotton than the ones we've been making to date.

A few new natural dye options we're exploring. Always amazed that we can get such rich #textile colors using more sustainable dye sources, such as wood, roots, and berries.
